Sitka Point Lodge is owned by Captain Mike Boles, who has spent more than 30 years commercial and charter fishing out of Sitka. The crew has deep local tenure: Captain Mike Romine, a 27-year Sitka resident, has run boats for the lodge for 16 years, and Sitka-born Captain Aedon Dumag has fished these waters since childhood. Tad Kisaka, who holds a degree in fishery resources, guides fly fishing.
The operation sells day charters and all-inclusive packages — meals, lodging, licenses, tackle, and fish processing included — for salmon, halibut, and lingcod, with five double-occupancy rooms plus a newly built cabin.
