Wetherbee's Lodge & Fishing Charter

Wetherbee's Lodge is a hand-built oceanfront lodge in Coffman Cove on Prince of Wales Island, constructed from local wood and looking out over Clarence Strait. Captain Frank Wetherbee, with more than 20 years of fishing and boating experience, runs guided saltwater trips aboard Jaqie's Freedom, a 24-foot North River that takes up to six anglers for halibut, kings, and coho on the calm inside waters.

The lodge sleeps up to 13, and larger groups often rotate between guided saltwater days and self-guided freshwater fishing for steelhead, trout, Dolly Varden, and sockeye. Packages cover lodging, meals, gear, and fillet-and-vacuum-pack service; wildlife viewing, kayaking, and hiking are also on offer.
