Fishtale River Guides

Fishtale River Guides runs salmon charters on the Little Susitna and Deshka rivers in the Susitna Valley, about 45 minutes from Wasilla and 90 from Anchorage. Owner Andy Couch guides alongside Frede Stier, fishing from roomy jet-powered charter boats for king and silver salmon, with chum, pink, and sockeye salmon, rainbow trout, and Dolly Varden also in the mix.

Trips include quality rods, tackle, instruction, and fish filleting, and in winter the outfit guides ice fishing trips close to Anchorage, Palmer, and Wasilla.
