About Alagnak Lodge

Alagnak Lodge sits on the tidal stretch of the Alagnak River about five miles above its junction with the Kvichak, roughly 25 miles north of King Salmon in Bristol Bay country. There are no roads to the river — guests fly in — and every salmon returning to the Alagnak passes the water in front of the lodge.

The program is built around flexibility rather than a rigid schedule, fishing two clients per guide and boat from custom-designed 18-foot aluminum boats rigged with both prop and jet motors, while the main lodge covers meals, hot showers and daily housekeeping. The lodge counts more than 27 years of hospitality on the river.
