Alaska Trophy Fishing Safaris

Alaska Trophy Fishing Safaris runs a remote fly-in tent camp on the Mulchatna River in the Bristol Bay watershed, founded in 1973 by Dennis Harms and operated by John and Melissa Carlin for more than 36 years before current owners Doug and Kim Mostrom took over. Doug is a Minnesota-raised lifelong angler with 30 years of business experience; Kim, from the East Coast, brings a 20-year career in business and client service, and the couple are raising four kids around the operation.

Guests fish king salmon, silver salmon, and rainbow trout from Alaskan wall tents in country where brown bears, caribou, moose, and wolves are common sights, on a stretch the camp says has no significant competition for over 250 miles.
