About Rapids Camp Lodge

Rapids Camp Lodge is a fly-out fishing lodge in King Salmon, in the Bristol Bay watershed about an 80-minute flight from Anchorage. The lodge takes a maximum of ten guests per week and runs wheeled and float-equipped de Havilland Beavers plus jet boats. There is no set destination list — guests design their own trips with recommendations from the staff.

Fishing covers all five Pacific salmon species, rainbow trout, Arctic char, Dolly Varden, and grayling, with both fly and conventional tackle welcome and rods, reels, waders, and gear provided at no charge. Glacier and volcano flight-seeing, bear viewing, and clam digging round out the program.
